Pre-race routine:

Oatmeal and banana for breakfast, stopped to pick up coffee for c-cic and me for the drive to the race.
Event warmup:

jogged back and forth a few times and did my usual loosening up.

Comments:

It was snowing when I left the house and sunny at the race site but started to snow there too. Cold waiting for the start but was overdressed for the run and got pretty warm. Started a bit too fast and paid for that later.
What would you do differently?:

Start a little slower.

Warm down:

walked around, drank water and gatorade, ate a cookie and a boiled potato

Event comments:

I had a great time today and wil come back to try to better my time next year. It was great to finish w/my sis, that was the best part. One downer was that somehow my chip failed to register so ended up with DNS on the results, Hurray for my Garmin! I wasn't going to wear it but am glad I did now!
