roughest swim start I've been involved with...a bunch of pretty quick swimmers out there trying to all make the same turn around the buoy.
What would you do differently?:

get out a little harder ahead of the crowd

thought I was having a pretty solid bike leg, I was passing people or holding my own for most of the bike, which was the first time in a while where I don't think I got passed by anyone who came out of the water after me on the bike.

fitness on the bike still needs improvement

solid run but my core felt like shit. It was in the top part of my stomach where I was feeling cramps...I took water at the start of the run, which might have been a bad idea because I haven't practiced hydrating while running in a while.
