Comments: Not a good swim. What would you do differently?: I haven't been in the water in 2 weeks due to work travel, and it showed. Transition 1

Comments: Never really felt good on the bike. Wanted to push, but I had some mental block where I never really pushed. Sort of disappointed myself, in that I couldn't put the effort in that I wanted to. What would you do differently?: Not sure why I couldn't work harder, figure it out, and not repeat. Transition 2

Post race
Warm down: Grab a water and hop in the car. What limited your ability to perform faster: Didn't have the mental focus for this race. Not sure if was due to fatigue, or what, but never really pushed like I wanted too. Event comments: Lots of volunteers and police to direct participants on the course. Race gets poor marks however, due to the two transition areas, lack of bike racks in both, no bike/transition security, and racers and spectators were walking around in each transition throughout the race. Eat a banana and drive to race, stop at T2 first and drop of shoes and hat. Then park near T1 and set up T1. There were no bike racks and bikes just sat on the ground. Bodymarking, and then line up for swim start. Race started about 5 minutes late. Avoided eating/drinking any Hammer products to see if I could avoid the stomach issues of the past few events.
Swam about 200 meters in the pool as a warm up.
