Comments:

Started out running a comfortable pace. Didn't want to go out to hard. I was a little nervous how my knee would hold up. Didn't want to over do it having not tranined well for the last 3 weeks. Kept a pretty comfortable pace. 51:20 at the 10K mark. Run on the bike trail was uneventful. Saw Kim and Karley at 40th and Hwy 2. Lots of spectators out cheering. The hill going up 20th street was a little rough. My knee started to ache a little on the hill, but it went away. Felt like I started to fade a little between mile 10 and 12. Last mile just gave it what I had left. Finished strong down the home stretch.
What would you do differently?:

Train a little more, try not to injure myself a month before race day.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked and stretched a little. Got some gatorade and a bagel. Waited for Jeff, Justin, and Cathy to finish.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of training due to recent injury

Event comments:

Good race. Glad to overcome recent injury and set a PR.
