TOTALLY forgot to eat breakfast. Managed a coffee on the road but spaced out to eat. I felt that error today too.
Event warmup:

Chatting with my girlfriends, goofing around and then lined up to watch the elite group take off. Yay for Brandon and Amy!

I started strong and sited/drafted well for the first half. I was probably in 3rd ish place around the turn and then we hit the wave in front of us... it was a cluster and lost my draft girl and just got caught. Overall this was a good swim though.

I had cramping and side stitches right into the run. Couldn't get into a groove until 1.5 miles in... which in this distance means nada. I need to learn to suck it up and RUN. If I can get a decent 8.5 min mile going I could do well in this race. I suck suck at the run! UGH!
