Swim
Comments: Drafting the eventual race winner and jammed thumb into his heel. Brutal. Swim is typical Lake Ontario. West wind creates light chop. Some whitecaps. Murky water from large waves the day before. Water temp was perfect. Decent swim but for jamming thumb and some swimmers who cannot stay on course... What would you do differently?: Drafted better... Transition 1
Comments: Decent transition. Getting suit off with swollen right thumb was not easy. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: Good ride. Dumped chain off big chainring! Had to stop, dismount and fix chain! Lost two places there... Caught one guy, but could never close gap on the other guy... Road was awful! Huge potholes in the park. Outside park, roads average. What would you do differently?: Not dump chain. Hammer inside park despite road conditions. Transition 2
Comments: Very good for me. Zoot shoes with no socks save at least 20 seconds. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Just tried to hold it together and not lose too many places. What would you do differently?: Run faster! :) Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Hard training day before. Event comments: Well run race. Fun, family atmosphere. Third year and will do it again next year. Great value as well... Last updated: 2008-05-07 12:00 AM
