Pre-race routine:

Got to the park and helped out a bit. After Tom finished building the bike racks, I helped place them and racked my bike. Got my transition area together and chatted with club members I haven't seen since last year.
Event warmup:

Didn't really warm up since I ended up manning the registration table. First time we are USAT sanctioned, so reg. took a bit longer.

Comments:

A lot more people here for the race this year. Got swam over and got stuck a little bit. When I tried to get out from all the people, my navigation suffered a bit. I sighted and got back on track to round the buoy well. Swim back was a bit crooked but then I was sighting the pavillion well. Overall not too bad.
What would you do differently?:

just do more races to learn how to draft properly and stay in the mix.
