Pre-race routine:

I had a bagel at 5 am and a couple of glass of water tooka shower and headed downtown at 7 am

really didn't do to much to warm up

Comments:

everthing was going great the first half then i died at mile 9
What would you do differently?:

I did n't take any gels on the course. i think that was a mistake i also had to pee alittle befor the race started and there was not enough time seeing how there was only 6 porta jons for 15000 people

Warm down:

just walked back to cheer on the other runners that i knew

What limited your ability to perform faster:

knees and strengh training jsut too weak

Event comments:

I now realize that triathlons are a better fit for me, i like the swim and bike and run better than just running that being said i might do it again next year and follow the traing program better.
