Comments: Awesome support and great run... I'd highly recommend. Personnely, I was shooting for sub 2 hours so in one way, a little disappointed. They had times posted at every mile so I knew exactly were I was and left everything I had on the course so feel good about the effort. (Start excuse here)... training was not consistent due to some injuries. Good news was I had no knee or ankle issues at all on the run, so another positive! Course was flat / slight downhill for the first 1/2. Time at halfway was 1:01:+ - second half was rollers - nothing major but the hills made it a bit tough - was pretty pleased about the slightly negative split. What would you do differently?: More and more consistent training leading up to event... don't play basketball 2 weeks before (rolled ankle) - stupid me. Post race
Warm down: Waited for my brother in law to finsh... grabbed some food. What limited your ability to perform faster: Training / aerobic threshold. Event comments: Just a fun, incredibly well organized (esp for 5,000 runners + another 5,000 in the 5k and 10k). Great venue and awesome support. Last updated: 2008-05-12 12:00 AM

Parked fairly far away so just walked down to race site, looked around and got lined up.
