Comments:

was very impressed,sticking to my IMAZ training plan,the plan only had me running 16 to date, one 20 miler in Mt vernon,that was pretty much a wash,walk n run
What would you do differently?:

not train for an ironman during training for marathon,very pleased overall, really impressed, nothing happened till beginging of 395,always gets me,crystal city rocked then pretty much walk 24.5 25 and most of 26
Post race
Warm down:

walk to metro,beer tent then bus shuttles,walked dogs for 30 minutes,cold ice bath

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of long runs should of had two 20,two 18 mile runs

Event comments:

love this race and new course,the spectators ruled the day,there were many portions where it felt like you were squeezeing through a tight tunnel of people,very cool

Performance:
avg hr 151 max hr 172 this is when my legs cramped so bad running up that dam hill at finish.I actually fell,too funny. All those Marines around I yelled corpsman down,corpsman down,too funny,three marines picked me up.pretty cool
Course: hills then all flat,didn't like down hill leading to G-TOWN this is when my plantar fascitis kicked in ouch the rest of way
