Comments: Great swim for the first swim of the season (pool or otherwise). Sam was worried about it, I was not. What would you do differently?: More swim training. Steadier pace. Keep swimming and not looking around so much. Transition 1
Comments: Transition area was immediately after the swim. I set it up perfectly and the only problem was taking some nutrition with me. Bike

Comments: Very slow run. I hit the wall immediately after the transition area and finally recovered to run at a decent pace with only 1/2 mile left. What would you do differently?: Much more focus on bricks. Post race
Warm down: Walk for approximately 10 minutes with stretching What limited your ability to perform faster: Training, training, training. Event comments: Swim course had a ton of safety personnel out on the water. Plenty of volunteers out on the course, including the sticky bike portion. Woke up early to drive to the race (1 hour distance). Cliff Bar for breakfast with some orange juice.
Easy bike (5 min) with stretching afterwards. Light run (5 min).
