Comments: My calf was bugging me most of the time, so I really laid back on the bike. What would you do differently?: I need to improve my bike time by a significant margin. I should be pushing 20mph and I just didn't have it in me in this race to do so because I didn't want to be injured for the run. Transition 2
Run
Comments: I loved this run but I should have dropped a few minutes off my time. My calf was still bugging me so I really didn't think it was the right time to be burning myself up on the run. What would you do differently?: nothing Post race
Warm down: eat my face off What limited your ability to perform faster: calf was bugging me the whole time. Event comments: This really is an excellent race, although the cold morning kind of sux. my buddy woke me up at 4am instead of 4:30. Annoyed by that but whatever. Drank Boost, then packed and got into the car. Stopped at McDs on the way down for a egg & cheese McMuffin, which was awesome
swam for awhile. Froze my arse off.
