Run
Comments: I knew people would start running like scared rabbits once the gun went off. They did. I decided to stay around my T pace of 7:30/mile. Tons of people ahead of me. Transition 1
Comments: Still haven't bought a new pair of tri shoes, so I didn't leave my shoes clipped to the bike. Not too bad considering. Bike
Comments: I thought 240W would be a good average, so I pegged it there. Passed quite a bit of the rabbits. Had to hit 300+ quite a few times to get over some hills and drop some people. NP: 253W Transition 2
Run
Comments: Uh-oh. Left ITB started hurting. Forerunner 50 stopped receiving from my footpod. Think I should've hit the start/stop button. What would you do differently?: Warm up better. Probably need 15 minutes of easy spinning. Transition 3
Comments: Which transition is this? I'm starting to get dizzy. Bike
Comments: A lot less people left to pass this time. NP: 251W Transition 4
Run
Comments: Wheels came off here. Knee was hurting really bad. Stopped to stretch, got passed. Walked a little. Got passed. Did a cross between skipping/running for a bit. Did a bit of stiff-legged running. Quite pleased with the time considering. Post race
Warm down: There was a keg of wheat beer. Got a massage, watched Aaron play on the playground. What limited your ability to perform faster: Biomechanics. Event comments: TRI-OKC race, so it was good. Last updated: 2008-05-18 12:00 AM
