Pre-race routine:

Race Began at 730. I woke up at 530 and ate 2 packages of oatmeal. I then stretched really well before leaving the hotel
Event warmup:

I warmed up by running down the beach for a couple minutes. I then stretched out my upper and lower body again.

Need to train more on the swim. Mass start was quite interesting for a first time.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of nutrition throughout the race. I usually take a power gel and eat it on the bike, but left it in the transition area so I had nothing for the entire race.

Event comments:

Great first tri! The race did start 15min late though. No biggie.
