Tried something different this time. Ate breakfast at 4:00 AM! Two Bob Evan's biscuits and a Boost; then went back to bed. Up at 6:15, light stretching.

Event comments:

Great race. Loved the area. Maysville, KY nice town. Transition area was in front of the French Quarter Inn where we stayed overnight. Post race food and awards ceremony was excellent. Unfortuneately for the triathlets the 1/2 mile swim was replaced because of poor water quality of the river with a 1/2 mile run.

Course: Half of run on city streets. Then, climbed about 50 stairs up to a grass covered river levy for the rest of the way to the finish line. Yikes!
