Run
Comments: My first 10K ever, so I was excited for that. I was right in the middle of heavy training for an Oly in a couple of weeks, but it didn't seem to hurt me too much. Legs felt good. First 5K was in 32:15, second was in 29:18. My 5K PR currently sits at 32:30, so I am THRILLED with these splits. I purposely went out slow as I wanted to make sure I didn't die, but I could have gone out faster and broken an hour. What would you do differently?: Start a little faster. Post race
Warm down: Herded around to get goodie bag and beer. Had a couple other beers in the stands while waiting to watch the pros. What limited your ability to perform faster: No taper, in the middle of heavy training. Event comments: First time running the Bolder Boulder, and I had a blast. I was worried about the number of people, but I felt I had more room to run in this race than in any other I have run. Will do again. Last updated: 2008-05-21 12:00 AM

Woke up about 4:15 (earlier than I planned, the dog woke me up ARHH). Showered and had some oatmeal. Had a friend meet at my house at we drove up to the park and ride at Wadsworth and were picked up by another friend.
Nothing really except walking around and some stretching.
