Comments:

Training run for next weekend's Ironman Kansas. Hot, hilly, humid and windy. Good training run. I would have liked to run barefoot like Barefoot Rick but I need to win a triathlon tomorrow for my company so I wore shoes. Regretted this when I saw Rick smiling at mile 10 and myself with swollen feet in those coffins.
What would you do differently?:

Run san shoes.
Post race
Warm down:

You couldnt warm down, it was too hot. Went home and went back to bed.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Heat, humidity, hills, wind and shoes.

Event comments:

Will be doing this race every year until the Geez is no longer vertical.

Course: Hill yes it was hilly. It is called the Hospital Hill run. There were 3 monster climbs into the heat and wind. Loved it but worried about the triathlon I need to win tomorrow. Nice scenic tour of KC.
