OK swim not my best, I did a lot of breast stroke which I wasn't to happy about but I was getting tired. I also swallowed a whole bunch of water at one point. Heart average was 173 up in zone 3.
What would you do differently?:

SWIM MORE!! definitely needed to do more swimming before this race.

Took my time in the transition area, was a little dizzy at first so I slowed down for a sec.

Bike ride went ok I could have gone a little faster however, during the first mile I did not feel good and actually had to stop and throw up for a good 5 - 6 minutes. Not the greatest feeling ever but I got back up and finished the race went a little slow at first. I think what happened is I ate about 1/4 of a gel and it didn't agree with me.
What would you do differently?:

Bike more and don't eat a gel right after the swim.

Run went ok really didn't get my legs until a mile and a half I really tried to keep my HR in zone 2 or 3 a couple times it got up to zone 4 so I started to go slower and walk a little so overall I think it went well.

not swimming more and throwing up.

Event comments:

I enjoyed this race and would do it again, only bad thing was the Lake was nasty. Wish I hadn't thrown up but I guess it happens.
