got up at 4:40, ate oatmeal with blueberries, cup of coffee and drove up to the race.
Event warmup:

Did a 10 minute jog, used the stick to get out some stiffness in my lower legs, and stretched.

Run wasn't as bad as I'd remembered from last year. It still hurt, but I felt much stronger on the run than I did on the bike, not sure why.
