Comments: I was a little stiff from not having a warm up. It took about 15 minutes to get loose. I felt really good in the last 300...too bad I had already realized I missed my goal time! What would you do differently?: Arrive earlier to allow for warm up. Transition 1
Comments: T1 included a 2/3 mile run from the swim finish to TA. Bike
Comments: I really need to continue to work on my bike. I felt O.K. until mile 16 when my back injury started shooting pain down my left leg. Transition 2

Got up at 4:45 but had a little trouble getting the rest of the family out of the bed! We grabbed a little breakfast at 5:30 and headed for the race site. We didn't leave the hotel until 5:50...I was freaking out! We pulled up to the race site at 6:15 and had a loooong way to go to the parking area! I was absolutely freaking out, now!
No warm up...except the little 2/3 mile jog to the swim start.
