First open water swim. Not what I expected. Swimming is my weakest part of the tri. Need to work on it heavily for next years season.

was pretty slow. but there was a run from the beach to the zone and the more running to the mounting area. it was my first transition and i felt good while doing it.

had a cramp for most of the 3 mile run. good run overall. went all out at last 200m which felt great.
What would you do differently?:

get rid of cramps and just go my hardest next time. was holding back in fear of passing out, but i could have done it. would like to get to 7 minute miles next time.

I had a great time even if i had no idea what i was doing and i didn't know anyone. everyone was friendly and ready to help or answer questions. fans cheered everyone on. good time!
