What would you do differently?:

I don't feel like I gave everything. I was nervous because of my calf and didn't want to do more damage to it before my first triathlon next weekend. It felt fine during the race but I was limping for a while afterwards. I didn't pick up the pace at the end like I normally would have.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I was worried about the calf thats been sore for two weeks. Mentally I didn't push myself too hard.

Event comments:

I am just looking forward to my first ever triathlon next week. The OWS is intimidating and I am apprehensive about the cold water. I hope my wetsuit helps A LOT! I also need some practice on my new bike. I just got it last week and I felt pretty wobbly in the aero-position. I don't even feel comfortable enough to grab my water bottle. Haha. Oh well, I will just have to go into it to have fun and learn!

Course: This course was a lot harder than the Ice Breaker's. There were a lot of hills. The steep hill towards the end sucked because the wind picked up and was blowing in my face the whole time I was running up it.
