Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 3:45am,had breakfast of one packet oatmeal, two pieces wheat toast. Stopped for a large coffee. drove 80 miles to race.breezed thru package pick up and setting up gear.
Event warmup:

Drank water and met-x protien bar and met alot of new people and just hung out. No stretching, swam a little before my heat. Felt pretty loose.

Did some breast stroke, around bouy and on back leg. Finished strong racing two guys at the end.

Had nothing for bike, need to slow swim down?

Was very lightheaded had trouble with balance, getting suit off.First time this happened, not sure why?

Started, with a water bottle just grabbed it. Fealt pretty good and was getting better on the run, finished strong.

Warm down:

Some stretching, ate pizza and heed. Hung out with the bt crowd, was very nice.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

No energy on bike

Event comments:

Run pretty good took a long time for results, and awards. Overall very nice venue, would recomend it and will do it again.
