Need to do more hills. Hills were not steep, but tough for me in this race & lost a lot of speed. Nowhere near the hills in some of the other races, just didn't have a great day on them

More hill work, maybe road the course.

Foot cramp/pain on the ball of left foot for the first 3/4 mile

Missed a turn because a sign blew down, probably cost me a minute or two.
slowed between mile 2.5 & 3.

I really liked the laid back and family atmosphere of the race. Without racks and chip timing it feels like a throwback race, which is really cool. A really great race for a great cause.

Had a tough time with breathing this race. Pool swims are always a challenge. Got hit in my injured shoulder twice and twice had to wait at the turn fro a couple of guys to clear my lane.
