Comments:

Due to flooding of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers, the advertised 21 mile bike became 23.5 miles with course re-routing. Yesterday I posted on my blog that they made no adjustment for train stoppages...so of course I got stopped by a train. And while they make no adjustments, I do, so the time posted for the bike is actually my bike computer time, not official race time. which was 1:17:35. For a course that featured FOUR hairpin turnarounds and some stout cross/head winds, I'll take it.

More or less an out and back on park trails and residential streets. I had some issues with side-stitches, but all in all I can't complain too much as I'm just getting back into running again after taking a break after the marathons earlier this year

There were some issues on the bike course, volunteers who didn't know the course and which way to point us. Plus not enough racks in transition.
