What a LONG run this transition is...I mean an over 5 minute transition that's huge

Undecided, if leaving sandals for this long rocky run is good or not

Here was that steep-super steep hill again, I was silly and tried to go into my very highest gear on the very high/small ring and it wasn't enough for me to even be able to push climg in and I feel off my bike and gave myself a nice scratch...and my computer was all messed up so I didn't have the right speeds or distances...
What would you do differently?:

Don't wimp out on the climb

Event comments:

Firm always puts on good races...this one in particular started quite late...very slow registration/sign up but it worked out just fine! Was a good 2nd race of the season and good to relive my firts race ever...and of course I improved on time from the first time around in 2006
