Pre-race routine:

Got up and ate breakfast. Drove to the race start and got ready.
Event warmup:

No warm up, Just a fund raiser ride.

Comments:

Great ride finished in the top 20. no results because it was not a race. Very windy down by the Snack River and in the canyon. Pace line part of the way and out in the open in aero for the rest. Not much of a tail wind on the way back. Fuel was ok. I did take in too much cals. and had stomach issues because I didn't have any plain water left. It took about 20 minutes until I started to feel better. Good lesson learned NEED TO DRINK H2O WITH GELS/
What would you do differently?:

Fuel better with H2O. Work better with ride partner. He bonked because he went out to hard and pulled the lead too much.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing had a but the little fueling problem

Event comments:

Very well put together and lots of help. Rest stops where very well stocked.
