Thought I would be able to do that after the first age group started but it didn't work that way- No warm up

Comments:

Lots of swimmers from the previous heats still in the water. Had to go around a lot of people.
What would you do differently?:

I had the opportunity to start in the first heat but wanted to be modest and not run up there when the said 50 fastest swimmers also I wasn't prepared to start in the 1st heat as my first tri started by age group and I assumed that was typical.

Comments:

Couldn't clip in and a race official wanted me to run up the incline then clip in so I did. Then I messed around a bit with my Garmin as I rode.
What would you do differently?:

I am clipping in my shoes first next time. And making sure my Garmin is ready to go

Seat moved somehow. Had to adjust my seat. Coming out of T1 was a mess again (my fault)

No screwing around with anything once I start riding, come of T1 ready to rock

I would have never guessed this sport could be so much fun. Also it's chuck full of awesome people. Good race and I felt my effort was solid.
