Pre-race routine:

got up at 4:00 was pretty much ready to go the night before. I did not sleep the best last night. BUT people tell me who does the night before a event
Event warmup:

Got into tranisition in time and all went well. Then hung out with Andria and BT people was a fun time
Swim
  • 20m 32s
  • 880 yards
  • 02m 20s / 100 yards
Comments:

well considering that I have not done much open water swim practice I was happy! PLUS this was the second time only in the new wet suit. It old myself just relax and half fun with it
What would you do differently?:

I just need more practice in open water swims!
Transition 1
  • 02m 51s
Comments:

I need practice in transition too! I was slow and headed out a few feet to realize that I forgot my sunglasses LOL. Oh well my last triathlon was 2 years ago and I was not near the shape that I am now :) so getting better
What would you do differently?:

maybe a bit more organized
Bike
  • 1h 09m 50s
  • 17 miles
  • 14.61 mile/hr
Comments:

I just need to learn to ride faster and stronger. But considering I have not road much this season I am pleased
What would you do differently?:

PRACTICE,PRACTICE, PRACTICE
Transition 2
  • 02m 19s
Comments:

Just need to work on transion practice
What would you do differently?:

just need more experience at it
Run
  • 33m 42s
  • 3.2 miles
  • 10m 32s  min/mile
Comments:

I knew this course and so it was a bit easier for me. I did a5k there in the fall with the Bolder back roads marathon weekend. So I knew what the path ahead was
What would you do differently?:

practice running in the heat.
Post race
Warm down:

walked around drank water and stayed in the shade

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I just need more experiece and more training. Considering my last tri was in 2006 and I was about 15 pounds heavier I cannot complain

Event comments:

I was really impressed with this event! The husband and wife who organize the Boulder series do a great job! I am wanting to go back next year! I also enjoyed being part of CWW and having them there. Coach Yoli rocks!
