Swim
Comments: crowded but controled. We entered in at one end one at a time..and finished at the other side of the pool exit. Watched other swimmers do their laps to calm my nerves. What would you do differently?: PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE MORE.. Transition 1
Comments: Moved fast in the beginning of the ride. This was my strong event on the race. I moved quickly past alot of the other swimmers that came out before me. made up alot of ground. helmet was digging me in the side of the head on the back half of the race. What would you do differently?: Make sure the helmet fits right. I might have to buy one a bit more in price instead of going the cheap route. Bike
Comments: Smooth run, passed alot of people. made up for the lost of being near the end on the swim. What would you do differently?: better helmet and adjust my seat more. Transition 2
Comments: very smooth transision. Legs werent as tired as i expected. What would you do differently?: nothing everything went great. Run
Comments: I ran walked most of the route. I was starting to feel the lack of energy hit me. What would you do differently?: Workout a bit more drop some weight so that I could do the run non stop. Post race
Warm down: cool water, leg stretches and kept moving around. What limited your ability to perform faster: lack of training and needed to drop some weight to build up more endurance. I believe if id practiced in a better pool id made better time. The pool portion kicked my butt. Event comments: Id do this event again. I enjoyed it very much. Alot of people there from various age groups, sizes, and proformance levels. I didnt feel as out of place as i thought id be. My nervousness level dropped once the race started. Look forward to next years races. Last updated: 2008-06-15 12:00 AM

Ate a little peanut butter wrap on whole wheat and some water. Very nervous got to vendu site early as I hate being late. Took my time as I began my very first set up in transision before getting marked and timing chip on.
I stretched a little..walked off the nerves by getting in the pool for at least a couple of laps. Thought to myself this pool part is going to kill me. I was out of breath once i got out. I believe it mostly do to nerves. Telling myself..i should of practiced more.
