Pre-race routine:

Did not sleep well, maybe 5 hrs sleep. woke 5 am. One pack oatmeal and two pieces dry wheat toast, got a coffee on the road. Should of stopped at bank night before for money as I was a walk up racer, did not know if they took credit. Put me behind schedule. Arived later than I wanted took longer than I thought to register, did not get race shirt( teach me not to sign up earlier). Did not get a bathing cap.

Went faster than A.A. Still slow with the two transition areas, had to package everything up for someone else to bring back to t2.
What would you do differently?:

Need to learn how to work on suit and helmet at same time.

Felt good on bike for the most part. Forgot to set computer before race.
Consumed two gu's on bike and 1/2 bottle gatorade and half bottle water.
What would you do differently?:

need to get a tri bar watering system

Not to bad, had the toggle locks, that helped over the last race. Ran with glasses on, don't know that I care for that.

none, drank water ate pizza, met and talked to people

What limited your ability to perform faster:

8k race friday and rode 25mi. day before, need more rest I think, results of poor planning

Event comments:

No porta johns, no race cap at sign in (I forgot to get one). not enough markers,or timing chips. Two days later and still have not found out my results.

Course: Not much deep water, walked quite a bit. Started on beach 40-49 males ran in to a 100 ft shallow corridor. Bunched up at first two bouys had to stand to sort people out, opened up a little after that. I need to relax alot more, sighting is in dire need of work also.
