Swim
Comments: I was in the 3rd wave. I was comfortable early on so that helped. Sighting was good. People were all over the place so that slowed be down a bit. What would you do differently?: Maybe go out a little faster. Transition 1
Comments: There is a good 300 yrd run from the swim to T1. I think I did a decent job getting in and out. Bike
Comments: I was very happy with the bike as pushed as best as I could. Nice course with rolling hills. My biking is much improved since people no longer blow by me like they used to. I was a little worried about my rear tire. I blew it it out the three days before and my paranoia was getting the best of me. The tire was fine the whole ride. What would you do differently?: No head games. Transition 2
Comments: Decent T2 for me. Came in pretty fast on the bike. Felt good off the bike. Run
Comments: Not sure where this came from. I ran 19:59 the year before and was looking to do that. I got into a nice pace from the start and managed the more difficult parts of the course with ease. For what ever reason, I have run very fast run times in the shorter tris. This was by far the best. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Cheering the rest of the Tri-Delaware club members in. Event comments: I took 4.5 minutes off last year's race and 9.5 from 2 years sgo so there are no complaints. Weather was great as well. This is a very low key event which is great for first timers. I highly recommend it. Last updated: 2008-06-16 12:00 AM
