Swim
Comments: This is what I expected. No training equals bad performance. What was my goal? Not panic, not hang onto every lifeboat, and to finish. I accomplished this but I can't say I am happy. I expended so much energy freestyling, backstroking and sidestroking that I was totally wiped out at the end. What would you do differently?: TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN!!! Transition 1
Comments: What a friggin' long walk to transition. Plus my feet got chewed up along the way. Finding my bike was easy but I took too long. What would you do differently?: Quicker Bike
Comments: I got on the bike tired but thought I could pick it up some but everytime I looked down at the computer I was going 16-17 mph. Made me sick. What would you do differently?: Get out on my bike instead of the trainer. Transition 2
Comments: I was tired so I took a little too much time to get going. Plus I had to go the bathroom but the ones at the transition had no TP. What would you do differently?: Stop thinking so much. Run
Comments: I had to hit the portapotty so that took 3 minutes off the run but didn't really matter. I was dead tired. Walked and ran, walked and ran. What would you do differently?: Just stop thinking and run, jog if I have to. Post race
Warm down: Saw family. Ate a bagel and walked to CTC tent. What limited your ability to perform faster: My training routine sucks! Event comments: I love this race, it just has a good feel to it. So diverse. The only problem I had is when transition reopened and took forever to get my bike. Last updated: 2008-06-17 12:00 AM

Stayed at hotel downtown. No sleep. Kids awake all night. Got ready aroung 4, ate PBJ, some vitamin water. Short shower and head to the transition.
Potty break. Some stretching. Put some Body Glide and sunscreen on. I was so nervous I thought about backing out!!!
