Comments: Suit came off easier this time (lotsa bodyglide); racked bike by seat, need to figure out best way to get bike off rack (tried to pull it through, took forever. Rubber band broke again. What would you do differently?: Figure out how to handle racking bike by seat. Bike
Comments: Felt pretty good...was not passed by a lot of people. Very crowded road. What would you do differently?: Faster on flats. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Very flat, out and back twice...seemed long. Top knee/lower thigh cramps. What would you do differently?: Go harder....because the out and back felt so long, I was holding back a bit. Should have pressed harder after 1m or so...time on this course should have been 6:30's. Post race
Warm down: Stretch, eat. What limited your ability to perform faster: 1. Not going hard enough on run....need to suffer more. 2. Racking bike by seat. 3. Not enough raw speed on bike. Event comments: Good race, just too far away from home to make it worth doing again (tons of traffic, huge lines for everything, staying in hotel).
