Slept terribly. I guess I wanted to do so badly and being here with Joe made me nervous.

Perhaps not sit down to put on bike shoes.

Ran well first 4 miles. I think my cold really started to affect me energy wise after the 4th mile. Ran very low on energy despite good nutrition and pacing on the bike and swim. Had to walk last hill.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not enough training, and a head cold the entire week prior. Also a poor night's sleep on race night.

Event comments:

Loved the venue and the race. I wish I could run better in hot wx!
