Comments: Just went out to finish and have a good time. This was the coldest weather I have run in since the spring. Did not warm up until mile 13 or so. Breeze was constantly sending a chill.Set pace according to how I felt. Things came a little unglued at mile 19. Hills really cut into how I ran...was on pace for 4:40 until hills. What would you do differently?: Train for a marathon? Nothing. Hydration, nutrition were great. Post race
Warm down: Get in the car and head home. What limited your ability to perform faster: No solid marathon training during tri season. Still a little heavy. Did not really care as I just wanted to run for the hell of it. Event comments: Fun little race although this is not a beginners course. It is VERY hilly and the weather can be a factor as the course is very much on the water. May be back next year...we shall see. Last updated: 2008-07-05 12:00 AM

No warm-up. Stretching and hanging with the old man.
