Comments: Started out well, good pace kept to 5;20/km went well till the 38 Km then it was just hard yards the rest of the way legs ran out of go. nutrition on the go was well controlled every 30 minutes then 40 towards the end. What would you do differently?: DON"T do a big hill session two weeks prior, use my Garmin in normal mode not race partner and set the pace alert to on. get some decent pins to keep the number on Stupid pins kept falling off when i bumped the number. probably not so much water at the start, had to stop a couple of times. Post race
Warm down: Finish off in the water to cool the legs off and stop the blood pooling, worked OK, Home for a sleep then a Spa (awesome!)
