Swim
Comments: First wave and first line up front on glass water?...priceless...but the transition to the bike? What? Not a single person told me about the long ass run to the trans zone...it had to be 1 to 2 min. Swim was NOT 24 slow...the transition was LONG! Transition 1
Bike
Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Race wheels Run
Comments: This run was a surprise...basically running on 12-15 miles a week for months now due to hips being hurt for so long... No pain in hips as I started so I looked at the HR monitor and it said GO Dumb Ass...the run was on ability and just happy to be running with no pain... No cramps, no pain, beautiful day...Felt fine throughout... What would you do differently?: Begin training for speed... Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: No run training, no race wheels, Event comments: The combo of the 5430 sprint then Lake to Lake is the way to go for oly training... Loveland was a great race...kids would love all the activities...but not to get up at 3:15! Next year will be on the podium... Last updated: 2008-07-08 12:00 AM
