felt great.
Transition 1
  • 02m 34s
Comments:

realized that when i took my goggles off my contact was gone. this is a problem since i am blind. kept my cool, miraculously found my contact in my goggle lens. was able to stop and put it back in. i don't think i had crossed the mat to the t1 area before i stopped, so contact time is added to the swim time. not too shabby.

Post race
Event comments:

this race, while nice is a giant pain the butt. the manditory events the day before coupled with difficulty getting from start to transition to finish makes this way too annoying for my taste. in 2009 this is on the same day as reston. reston wins that battle hands down.
