Comments:

I felt good the first mile...checked my watch 6:48...opps, a bit to fast. I knew I needed to settle down and find my grove. My mile 4 I was just over 28 mins so I felt like I was on track. Then from mile 4-7 I was struggling. Physically I felt ok, but mentally I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to keep up the pace I wanted to in order to get a PR. Mile 7 was around a lake...I finally just told myself "do your best" and keep repeating that to myself for the remainder of the race. By mile 12 knew I was on track for a PR. I was running with two other females and looking back I still had it in my pass them at the end but I was just happy to finish with a PR.
What would you do differently?:

I would have given it my all at the end and passed those two girls!!
