Run
Comments: I felt good the first mile...checked my watch 6:48...opps, a bit to fast. I knew I needed to settle down and find my grove. My mile 4 I was just over 28 mins so I felt like I was on track. Then from mile 4-7 I was struggling. Physically I felt ok, but mentally I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to keep up the pace I wanted to in order to get a PR. Mile 7 was around a lake...I finally just told myself "do your best" and keep repeating that to myself for the remainder of the race. By mile 12 knew I was on track for a PR. I was running with two other females and looking back I still had it in my pass them at the end but I was just happy to finish with a PR. What would you do differently?: I would have given it my all at the end and passed those two girls!! Post race
Warm down: Waiting for my hubby to cross the finish line! Then enjoyed a nice lunch in the Under Armour Tent Event comments: May attempt the FULL next year! I ended up the 28th female overall!! Last updated: 2008-07-21 12:00 AM

Got up around 5:45am. Scott and I were staying at his brother's and we had to head to the Baltimore airport to catch the Lightrail. I split a yogurt and bagel with pb with Scott on the way to the race.
We didn't really warm up. The marathon starting at 8am and our race started @9:P45am at the 13.1 mark of the marathon. We walked over to the starting line...and found out spot.
