Comments: Long run from swim to transition, walked most of it because I was out of breath from the swim. Bike
Comments: I ws a little slow on the bike at times. I wanted to average at lest 17 mph, but was closer to 16. Transition 2
Run
Comments: It was very hot and I was completely exhausted by the run. Post race
Warm down: walk and stretch, drink lots of water What limited your ability to perform faster: I was still not in race shape, and long day in the sun on saturday didn't help. Event comments: This was just a training race for me as I start to get back in shape, but I was still very disappointed with my time. Woke up at 4:30, showered and had a protein shake and some pudding.
No warmup. There was no simming allowed before the race.
