Swim
Comments: I'm not a good swimmer but this one was bad. I've been looking for a tri wetsuit and had one ordered, however they shipped a women's and not men's. I tried to swim in a water ski wetsuit which I'm not sure was a great idea. The worse part was that my goggles were leaking and driving me crazy! What would you do differently?: Either wear a tri suit or don't. Transition 1
Comments: I wasn't focused out of the swim, didn't get the suit off until I reached my bike but made up some time since it came off pretty quickly then ran with the bike to get spinning. What would you do differently?: No water, focus on starting to get out of the wetsuit and mentally prepare to grab all your gear for the bike. Bike
Comments: Strong bike, had some fast downhills and flat sections. What would you do differently?: Didn't need to drink so much. Transition 2
Run
Comments: I was fighting cramping, didn't take any water from the aid stations. Since I was on the verge of cramping, didn't push it to hard and wasn't wearing a watch to pace myself. Would have liked to have had a faster run but tried to make up to much time on the bike. What would you do differently?: Have a better swim, not drink so much on the bike, wear a watch for pace.
