Swim
Comments: Well- for not swimming at all this year, I did ok!! What would you do differently?: More training!! Transition 1
Comments: Need new bike shoes and practice this transition before races What would you do differently?: See above Bike
Comments: I was happy with this ride- the wind was a bit rough- but so what it was fun!! What would you do differently?: Not much Transition 2
Comments: Get new shoe laces and do not mess with the bib number- lost 30 sec.!! What would you do differently?: See above Run
Comments: Had a good pace- stayed with the same pack for most of the distance. I thought it was a good race, not my PB but it was my first TRI this season. What would you do differently?: Training!! Post race
Warm down: Had a few things to eat and drank a lot of fluids. What limited your ability to perform faster: Time to train!! Event comments: Good race- start was bit confusing, but after the event started it made sense. Everybody finished at the same time- that was nice. Last updated: 2008-08-04 12:00 AM

Git up at 5am- woke up my wife and daughter- had all my drinks prepared in the evening so I did not have to rush in morning. Drove the 25 minutes to the park- my wife kicked me out of the car and said- we are going for breakfast have fun and we will see you at the start.
Picked up my number and chip- set up my transition area and it was sold this morning, so a good warm up was crucial. Went for a nice run with a few stretches.
At the racer meeting we found out that the sprint start for our age group is not until 8:50- what a drag to wait and it was a cold cold morning.
