Swim
Comments: Started up front and had hard time. These people didn't mess around. I was forced to swim faster than my normal pace and I had breathing issues. My seim style is more distance than sprint so my long strokes didn't match up well with the crazy flailing arms. I ran into the bouy line which freaked me out and then I got whacked pretty hard to the point where the girl stopped swimming and apologized. Not the best swim but time was not horrible. What would you do differently?: Start midpack and work way forward - though I've had issues trying to pass people... Transition 1
Comments: Wetsuit off easy. The bike racks sucked and I caused someones bike to fall because of it. No gloves this time and no problems What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: I realy liked this course in that it had some elevation and challenges which helps to separate people. I pushed it this time as I knew I could gain some time on the hills. Averaged 17.4 mph What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 2
Comments: First time using the fast laces things on my running shoes. Worked awesome in transition - shoes are now slip ons - no tying! What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Not a bad run for pushing so hard on the bike. It was hot and I did cramp up just a tad. Post race
Warm down: Some stretching. Ate 1/2 bagel. Rehydrated. What limited your ability to perform faster: Even though this was not one of my better swims I don't think that made a huge difference.
