Swim
Comments: I thought I had a good swim until I got out of the water and saw my time. This was the first time that I drafted in a swim and it felt like my time was going to be around 14 minutes. I easily swim this distance in a pool in 13 minutes. My sighting was good, I did not get off course any. Oh well no more drafting for me. What would you do differently?: Not draft, swim on my own like usual. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: Overall a good ride. Only 4-5 people passed me. About half way through the bike my mind was some where else, and then I remembered hey this is a race. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 2
Comments: Good transition What would you do differently?: nothing Run
Comments: I had just started to run again after a calf strain so I decided to take it easy on the run to be healthy for the Cajun Man. The rum is 95% shaded so I didn't think it was extremely hot. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Walked to the food tent, eat some watermelon and wait for some friends to finish. What limited your ability to perform faster: Injured calf, drafting on the swim. Event comments: Overall this is a good race. The bike course is probably the best in the state. 2 stop packet pickup is horrible. Not enough toilets/port-o-lets. Last updated: 2008-08-08 12:00 AM

Woke up at 05:00 checked and double checked to make sure I had everything. Eat a cliff bar and a bananna. Drank a bottle of water and a cup of coffe on the way to the race site.
Swam back and forth to the pier 2 or 3 times.
