Pre-race routine:

Didn't eat breakfast (almost threw up when I tried - nerves). Got up early (3 hours of sleep) and quadruple checked my bag. Hopped in my truck and drove to park. Got their early and setup my station, got tagged and walked around taking in the experience.
Event warmup:

Swam 5 - 10 minutes to get warm. Not sure what kind of warm-up I should have done (first time)

need to work on learning how to swim in a pack as well as nagivating while swimming.

More strength training to increase muscle durability. Chest muscles were TANKED by the end.
