What would you do differently?: Calculate my start time better - I probably shouldn't have started last in my lane. I was catching up to the girl in front of me but not fast enough to pass her. Transition 1

Comments: Only one water station - after 3 km mark. Really hot and thirsty by the time I hit the water station. What would you do differently?: Stretch more to avoid shin splints. Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: The knee injury. Event comments: There was only one water station that you hit at the beginning of the run and about 3 km in. It would have been tough to set up another water station but I really needed it. The course was really nice though - quiet road for the bike and really nice run course. The bike was downhill for 5k and uphill for 5 km (very gradual), done twice. Last updated: 2008-08-11 12:00 AM
