The hills hurt, burnt my legs but pushed through the pain.

Last years time: 42.02 including both Transitions.
This years time: 34.15 including both Transitions.

An 8 min improvement! I am happy with that!

Maybe a bit more hill work.

Course: From the Transition the Cycle Mount is at the exit road of John Tonkin Park. The course progresses east along Riverside Road, Wauhop Road, Left into Preston Point Road with the first ‘U’ turn at Petra Street (1.6km). Back along Preston Point Road to the second ‘U’ turn at Pier Street (2.8km). Return along Preston Point Road, Wauhop Road and Riverside Drive to the third ‘U’ turn at Leeuwin Barracks. The lap (5km) is completed on Riverside Drive at the Cycle Exit. At the completion of course laps the Cycle Exit is located at the southern Zephyrs Café car park entrance.
