Comments: Bike felt strong. I only passed people going up hills. What would you do differently?: Drink alot more water. Transition 2
Comments: Got bike shoes off fast, had problems tying up running shoes. Lost alot of time trying to tie my shoes up!! What would you do differently?: Learn how to tie shoes... Run
Comments: X-country run trail, hurt my knees too much, had to slow my pace down alot to avoid knees giving out from un-even ground. Post race

Woke 3.5 hours before race start (hour drive). Ate oatmeal, drank half bottle of water. Ate a banana half way into car ride, finished water. Arrived at Fuller lake, drank more water, got bike checked (needed to get the gear wire re-wired), set up transition.
Jogged up and down hill leading from the lake to transition a couple of times.
