Swim
Comments: Water was lovely temp., but a bit choppy, tasting boat gas fumes, plenty of space in 3rd wave. only got kicked once. kept in free the whole time, a first. What would you do differently?: face in water and keep form. Transition 1
Comments: Fastest t1 ever. awesome position helped alot. What would you do differently?: learn to mount with shoes on bike already? Bike
Comments: Hammered this ride. How do I get even faster? I don't feel like I let up much at all. Just all out sprinting the whole time. What would you do differently?: Drink a bit more. Perhaps grind harder? Transition 2
Comments: shoe stuck going on right foot even with powder lube. What would you do differently?: loosen shoes/yanks up a bit Run
Comments: I believe my time is a bit slow due to a mismeasured course but perhaps it was me. Even at 630 Im still not running well compared to my usual pacing. I think I am just blowing it all out on the bike. What would you do differently?: Get more fit so I have more left in the tank after the bike. Dont want to give up that speed. Push it harder during the race? Post race
Warm down: A few drinks of water, pal around, walk it off, pack up and get out asap What limited your ability to perform faster: Inexperience in swimming, overperforming in bike, not pushing harder in running. Event comments: Nice group of triathletes. Easy to make friends. A bit more in race packet in terms of updated race info. was desirable. Good food after.Excellent race timing. All in all a great time. I'd like to go back tot his upstart race with nice upside for the future. Last updated: 2008-08-20 12:00 AM
